You are faced with the decision of not investing because the player is a scammer or the player is not competent.

You need to revamp your attitude and your offering before it's going to get taken seriously. I realize you want to do things your way but you don't get to do that when you start. You do it the investors' way until you're trusted and you have a track record, that's when you get to do it your way. That might not seem fair but that's how it works.

This has really cascaded into quite the disaster, no hard feelings. It's so convoluted I really can't tell if you did a bad job at scamming, a bad job at being honest, or maybe this whole thing was a fantastic scam (so scammy looking it can't be a scam) that just didn't take off. I'm tempted to pay for the audit myself just to know.

You've dug so deep and been so unwilling to conform to the norms of MD that there's little you can do to recover this situation. I will pay the cost of an audit if VV will do it, full price for just a quick and basic analysis to see that actual trading that match these reported profits is going on. I pretty sure I can guarantee that whatever ++ber-proprietary trading Kung-fu you claim to be using will be of little interest to him and if you're not paying for it then your two gripes are assuaged.
